How many lights do I need?

These battery operated lights are ideal when you don't have a power point anywhere near your Christmas tree.  1-2 sets of 400 lights will be sufficient for 152cm (5ft) size Christmas tree, we'd recommend 2-3 sets of 400 lights for a 198cm (6.5ft) and 228cm (7.5ft). For an 259cm tree (8.5ft) 3-5 sets should be sufficient.

We don't recommend battery operated lights for trees any taller than 259cm as they just won't provide good coverage and changing batteries won't be practical.

If you have the ability to plug in lights then that it always a better option than battery operated lights. Battery operated lights are not as bright and will need their batteries changed frequently (depending on use).
